Family
The name Sofia is a dedication to the memory of Sophie’s paternal Grandmother and namesake, who first introduced her to the magic of extra virgin olive oil and instilled in her a love of cooking—with only the freshest seasonal produce. Sophie first met her grandmother at the age of 9 in a small village named Aristodimion in the Southern Peloponnese, Greece.

Sofia is a casual Southern Mediterranean Grill and Cocktail Lounge, it is set in a beautiful heritage building, with its best features exposed and showcased. A space in which family and friends come together to share good food, delicious cocktails, beautiful wines and beers—sourced both locally and from Europe.

The food focus is inspired by Southern Mediterranean cuisines. Our chefs use Sofia’s own extra virgin olive oil imported from our olive groves in Mani, Greece. Sofia has generous-sized servings of entrees and main courses and encourages a shared table experience. Our food ethos is to serve fresh and vibrant seasonal produce—which is top quality and locally sourced—in generous, home-style dishes.
